Matchday media accreditation
Media requests for all Sheffield Wednesday first team games at Hillsborough should be made online through the booking system on the DataCo Press Accreditation website, i-PBS.
A note will be posted via DataCo when the media facilities are fully subscribed. At this point, please email mediaenquiries@swfc.co.uk to learn of a potential media overspill area.
All journalists and photographers attending first team games at Hillsborough must have a Media Accreditation number and up to date pass provided by DataCo. Press passes on the day of the game are available to collect from South Stand main reception, located over the footbridge, with car parking available on Rawson Spring Road, approximately 50 metres from the Penistone Road entrance to the stadium.
Pre-match and post-match interviews
Pre-match press conferences take place at Sheffield Wednesday’s Middlewood Road training complex, offering interview opportunities with the head coach and selected members of the first team squad. Please note that timings and interviewees are subject to change at all times.
A media advisory will normally be issued in advance of the pre-match media conference.

The head coach or a member of the coaching staff will be available for interview following every first team fixture – this will take place in the post-match press conference area beneath the South Stand following obligations to broadcast partners and stakeholders.
The mixed zone at Hillsborough provides opportunities for media to speak to players from both clubs on their exit from the ground. The mixed zone is located directly outside the players’ entrance of the South Stand.
For live television fixtures, the mixed zone is located pitchside at the top of the tunnel.
