FAQ: UK and Republic of Ireland fans

Ahead of the 2017/18 season, the EFL improved the Wednesday PlayerHD service, relaunched and renamed iFollow.

As part of the club's website iFollow will offer fans, based in the UK and Republic of Ireland the chance to watch selected live games and enjoy audio commentary from matches across the EFL.

For games available to watch live, match passes are available for £10.

Season passes (offering only live audio commentary) are available for £45.

Monthly passes (audio commentary) are priced at £4.49.

EFL clubs can live-stream in the UK and Ireland any league match via their respective iFollow service that takes place outside the blocked hours of 14.45-17.15 on Saturday afternoons and that is not broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Fixtures taking place on Bank Holidays or Easter will be unavailable for streaming.

All live streams will be accompanied by commentary from the iFollow Wednesday service.

Every match on iFollow will come with single camera coverage as standard, with the feed enhanced with commentary and graphics.

For the Owls' eight rounds of midweek fixtures, they will be covered with multiple cameras.

iFollow is available across desktop, mobile, tablet and app.

Users watching matches live on a mobile will have to use the iFollow app, which is available via the App Store and Google Play Store by searching "Official Sheffield Wednesday App”.

There is currently no available app on the Amazon Appstore.

Under the EFL’s existing broadcast agreement with Sky Sports clubs are unable to offer fans in the UK or Republic of Ireland the same access to iFollow as international fans.

Simply click here and follow the instructions to subscribe.

No, in order to live stream games on iFollow you would need to purchase a separate pass whilst based abroad.

Upon your return to the UK or Republic of Ireland you would not then be able to watch games but you would be able to listen to live audio match commentary on either of your passes.

If you have a UK match pass, you will be able to watch your game whilst travelling abroad.

If you wish to purchase a new match pass or an international season pass whilst outside of the UK, please note that you will need a local bank account with a local (non-UK) address.

Yes, full match replays and highlights will be available for all EFL league and cup matches.
